A full Hell-Let-Loose server needs more than one Start button. Moderators must be able to review incidents, manage players, and perform recurring tasks without sensitive credentials wandering through multiple chats. FLN is therefore planning a RCON and administration solution for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. Pre-allocations are already possible; the concrete provision follows after examination of the published interfaces.
For the classic Hell Let Loose, FLN already operates an automated CRCON-Hosting-Service. After successful ordering, a ready-to-use authority can be available there within a few minutes. Vietnam is treated technically separately. If the existing CRCON base is compatible, it can be used. If the new title requires other protocols or functions, FLN implements a matching RCON or administration connection.
Status: Product planning and pre-notification active. A specific software, full feature list or deployment time is only promised when the live build is technically validated.

What does RCON mean for an HLL Vietnam server?
RCON generally stands for Remote Console, i.e. a controlled remote management of a game server. In practice, operators today expect more than a single text input field. A good administration interface bundles server status, roles, logs and frequent actions so that a team can work traceably.
For Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, these areas are particularly relevant:
- Current server status and accessibility
- Player overview and moderation actions
- Ban and exclusion management
- Map and modifier, if the interface permits
- Queue and reserved slot behavior
- Audit logs for sensitive actions
- Separate rights for operators, administrators and moderators
- Status and alerts for technical problems
Which points are available directly for the release does not depend solely on FLN. The game’s server and RCON interfaces determine what can be safely automated.

Classic HLL CRCON and Vietnam clearly separate
The terms RCON and CRCON are often mixed in the HLL environment. For the classic Hell Let Loose, CRCON is an established administration solution, and FLN already has an automated deployment path for this. This is an existing offer.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is a new technical goal. Even though game principle and brand name are related, authentication, server protocol, log formats and available actions may differ. Therefore, FLN initially formulates the Vietnam offer as RCON and administration solution. Only after the technical test is it decided whether it is based on CRCON, an adapted variant or another secure integration.
This separation protects operators from a common hosting trap: a familiar product name is sold before it is clear whether all expected features are actually supported.
Roles instead of shared access data
A moderation team should not work with a single main password shared everywhere. The planned FLN path relies on clearly assigned identities and roles. Depending on the technically possible scope, operators should be able to specify who only sees the status, who is allowed to read moderation data and who can perform sensitive actions.
A meaningful model distinguishes, for example:
- Viewer: Read status and shared server information
- Moderator: Review Players and Run Shared Moderation Actions
- Administrator: Manage server settings and roles
- Owner: Control billing, main accesses and basic security decisions
Which roles are present in the final product is only determined with the actual surface. However, the security principle is clear: as few rights as necessary, clear accountability and logged changes.
Logs and understandable moderation
An admin action without context later generates more questions than it solves. Therefore, important actions with time, executive identity, goal and result should be logged. A log does not replace a good moderation policy, but creates a reliable basis for internal audits and appeals.
For FLN, these include:
- Clear separation of game events and administration actions
- Protection of sensitive data and access tokens
- begrenzte Aufbewahrung statt endloser Datensammlung
- Recognizable errors if an action was not executed
- Export or test routes for authorised controllers
The visible functions must match the actual server behavior. An interface must not display a successful kick, ban, or card change if the game server has not confirmed the action.
Make recurring tasks clear
RCON is especially valuable when a team does not have to manually search for each routine. Possible are status boards, planned instructions, rotation overviews or warnings in unusual conditions. However, automation must not become an uncontrolled chain of command.
FLN therefore plans limitations, tests and audit paths. Critical actions should be deliberately separated from pure reading accesses. Later, roles, releases and moderation rules can be supplemented without bypassing the security model.
Connect to HLL Vietnam server hosting
The RCON solution can be combined with a HLL Vietnam server from FLN be planned. This simplifies monitoring, support and the coordination of server and admin access. However, a coupled order is not a compulsion, as long as the confirmed interface also securely supports external servers.
In the case of a preliminary note, you should specify:
- whether the game server already exists or is also planned
- How many people should administer or moderate
- Whether public rounds, events or trainings are planned
- which tasks are particularly frequent
- which existing banning or role processes must be taken over
- whether Discord or other identities should be connected later
FLN then evaluates which requirements fit the confirmed range of functions.
Safety and Comfort
A web interface is only a step forward if it cleanly limits access. The planned operation will therefore use encrypted connections, segregated tokens, minimum permissions, audit logs and controlled updates. Access data does not belong in page texts, public links or jointly edited documents.
Equally important are backups and rollback paths for configurations. If a change has unexpected consequences, it must be clear which state was valid before and how it will be restored. Not every action can be completely reversed; this is precisely why it needs comprehensible limits.
Pre-allocation and planned expiry
- You describe servers, team size and required administration functions.
- FLN assigns the request after release to the confirmed technical scope.
- You will receive information about possible solution, price and delivery.
- Only after your release will accesses and roles be set up.
- The handover documents responsibilities, support and safety route.
A pre-allocation helps FLN to prioritize typical requirements early. It does not replace a later binding offer and does not guarantee any function that the game server does not provide.
Frequent questions about HLL-Vietnam-RCON
Can I already rent HLL-Vietnam-RCON?
You can already remember. The mandatory deployment begins as soon as FLN has checked the server and RCON interfaces of the live build.
Will this be exactly the same CRCON surface as with classic HLL?
This has not yet been confirmed. FLN uses existing experience and components, but promises a concrete software base only after the technical test.
Is classic HLL-CRCON already available?
Yes. The Classic-HLL-CRCON-Service is automated and can be provided within a few minutes after successful ordering.
Can my moderation team receive different rights?
A role-based access model is a central goal. The final roles and actions depend on the confirmed range of functions.
Does the solution also work with an external game server?
This is to be examined. The decisive factor is secure accessibility, supported authentication and the interfaces of the respective server.
Are admin actions logged?
Traceable audit logs are part of the planned security model. Scope and storage are documented in line with the final solution.
Are updates and backups included in the hosting?
The exact scope depends on the selected offer. We tailor updates, backups and restores so that your operation remains predictable.
Can I book RCON together with the server?
Yes. Hosting and Frontline RCON can be planned together, which makes setup, moderation and technical support work together better.
Administration that relieves your team
A good RCON solution does not make moderation impersonal. It creates time for the tasks that people have to decide: classify situations, explain rules and lead a community fairly. Technology is supposed to arrange status, rights and evidence, not hide responsibility.
